Why this exists

Notice deadlines differ by line

From the official pages we read, some cruise lines ask for 30 days' notice for a gluten-free diet and others 45 days or more. Our cruise questions guide lists each line's process.

Where it is made matters

On a ship, the main dining room usually handles gluten-free best and buffets are riskier. CruiseCeliac tracks reports by ship and venue.

Reports are scattered

Celiac experiences with cruise lines are spread across forums and apps, often only one or two per line. CruiseCeliac gathers them in one place.

Cruise line ranking

How we rank: each public traveller report counts +1 if positive, 0 if mixed and -1 if negative. More reports break ties. Official information alone does not score.

Dedicated celiac group sailings

Celiac Cruise is a travel agency, not a cruise line: it books group sailings on Royal Caribbean and AmaWaterways with a dedicated gluten-free main dining room. Travellers in the Reddit threads we read describe it very positively, while noting that on big ships only certain venues are gluten-free.

Gluten-free travel guides

Short, practical guides based on official cruise line policies and on public celiac traveller reports. Each one links to its sources.
